LaShandra Dupree is an awesome author and motivational speaker. She speaks and writes about many issues including Abandonment, Abuse, Assault, Promiscuity, Betrayal, Self Discovery, Authentic Living, Finding Your Passion, and Living Your Purpose. Detroit Is Marching For Aiyana Jones w/ Rev Omar Wilks




You have probably heard the tragic news about the death of 7yr-old Aiyana Jones who was killed by a Detroit Police Officer's bullet on May 14th, 2010 while she slept on the couch with her grandmother.



Aiyana's death has touched many people across the country and on Saturday, June 26, 2010 a march will be held in Detroit starting at Grand Circus Park and ending outside City Hall. The "REDEEM AIYANA’S DREAM; MARCH FOR JUSTICE" is sponsored in part by Unison Pentecostal Church and its pastor, Rev. Omar Wilks will join us today to discuss the march, no-knock warrants and violence against children by those who are charged with protecting them.

Craige Lewis has a DVD out blasting not only Hip-Hop music but says that the Church has to guard itself against the so-called "Holy Hip-Hop" and its negative impact on youth. He does seem think there is a place for Christian rap. We look at some of his arguments today with special guest music artist FRO.
